Hi, sent appropriate letters to barclaycard re-claiming £297. noticed on latest statement today that i have recieved an £80 late payment refund. contacted them and they explained that £12 charges are not re-fundable (which i have 12) and that the other charges ten at £20, were more than covered with the £80 refund. I told them to pass this on to there complaints manager and they will get back to me. All i need to know is are they tryin it on with the £12 charges saying they are un-claimable and i'm within my right, if they are not going to pay in full then i will take to deffcom 2 and start court proceddings. many thanks
Yes, Yes, yes!!! Of course they're trying it on!!!
You are fully entitled to you charges back - all of them. So go for it. Explain that you will accept this amount as partial payment (letter by recorded) & go to court for the rest!
