Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Sent initial letter requesting charges (8th May), received standard letter saying they'll look into charges (14th) and today received an offer of Full and final settlement for £96.
That seems really really quick, I assume if I press ahead im unlikely to receive a better offer without court proceedings?
So been a long time and i've been happily globetrotting for 3 months but to get back to this.
Im ready to file court papers (in Scotland) so can someone let me know what form I need and the details to be filled in? Plan to get it done and dusted tomorrow...
Then im right in saying its just a waiting game until the cheque arrives?
