Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I'm just starting my claim against RBS, They charged me for D?D that should'nt have gone out and I'm sure there charges for atleast £300 that added up after each month , but awaiting statements so I can really see this! I did phone up and say but I got it's your own fault etc etc, so lets see what they say about this!
Just a quick update, spoke to RBS today over 6 monthly cccs review and I asked about charges etc on my account, and they have a separate place/team dealing with this and they Don't charge for past six year statements! - so they are on their way to me, they said they will return the cheque ASAP! I only sent letter yesterday so may take a shorttime.
spoke ti RBS today they sAis eight weeks to reply/offer is this right? it's been three weeks since I sent my claim letter off I will send lba off tomorrow
got latter offering me part payment so I sent off letter accepting is as part payment, then they sent me letter back saying thank you for letter decling goodwill payment blah blah blah and they have ordered statements (?) for my accoumd and examinig my claim in more depth!
Can I still go ahead with court claim (or at least file it) or do I need correct them as I stated I would acceot as part payment
Hi is this thread for 2 claims? A personal account and a CC ?
You are entitled to all the charges they have applied. If they have failed to meet your requests for repayment and the set deadlines have expired then yes file the claim.
DOH! yep silly me i've been using this one for both! how silly! the prevous post is for Current account and the one for the £38.00 is for cc (which i've overlooked) looks like it'll be court action for both! (when re read details) can you do both cc and CA with one court claim?
just starting court claim online but I am unsure of the particlars of calim as I have copied and edited the link on forum but its too long - what have done wrong?
I would advise you to use the N1 when submitting your claim. This will allow you to have a detailed POC. We are currently completing specific POC to each bank. I shall confirm when the RBS Poc will be available.
Just getting round to making court claim can I add charges/interest since I last sent them a lba claim or does it have to be what you orginally claimed for (i've been with the fairys somewhere for past few months)

Yes.
You can amend your claim to include new charges right up to filing the claim at court. Once you've filed your claim, it's approx £35 to make an amendment (non-returnable) so it's worthwhile ensuring that you add all charges to the claim.
