Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Have sent SAR request off for statements, cant wait to receive them. Will keep you posted as to how it goes.
Another question though.... In September last year I was overpaid to the tune of £5000 by Family Tax Credit, FTC managed to recall £3500 immediatly, but the other £1500 stayed there. Barclaycard must have flagged my account (as I am with Barclays) cos the same day the money arrived B'card managed to get £560 out of the account, my arrears. Because the money from FTC was an overpayment I of course owed it back, therefore I am in debt with FTC as well. I think I have heard something recently that bnks are not allowed to take money out of benefits? Any advice on that one please?
I won against MBNA, Nat West , Barclays, Barclaycard and PPI payments from Barclaycard
Abbey National still to go.... what will I do with my spare time?
