Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Just thought I would say wello ;c). I started my claim end of last month but following advise from another site. (Wish I had come accross this one before). They sent me my statements within a few days which amazed me. Sent the first letter around the 5th and hadn't heard anything after the 14 days so sent a second letter giving a further 14 days before I start legal proceedings through the county court. So bac to waiting lol
It's the worst! Spend it reading up on the ins and outs of claiming against them in court. Plenty of info in the FAQs - test cases, guidance notes etc etc.
