Hi Everyone,

I had an account with Egg icon

but it is now closed, how do I find out my account number? I have my old card but nothing else.

Any help appreciated!

Just call them, they will give you the account number over the phone.

If you still have access via online you can speed the process of claiming RIGHT up by using their secure messaging. I got a result using this method within 3 weeks.

Card, then option 5 for all other enquiries, then you can get your statements posted out straight away.

Egg are currently charging £2 per statement, upto a maximum of £10 - and they are stating that due to postage it can take up to 5 working days for them to be delivered.

I just checked and I do still have access to secure messaging, but as the account is closed I can't view my statements to see if I'm actually owed anything?

I don't have a debit card so I can't ring and pay for statements, so I'll have to ring and ask for my account number and do a SAR icon

I have sent them a secure message asking if there is anyway I can view old statements online on a closed account, just waiting for a reply.
