    Default Motorcycle Advice

I had an accident and broke the exhast on my motorbike back in december, I left it with a garage since then I have not recieved a single phone callicon from them to advise of what is going on, I have had to call them every single time to find out what is going on! I havent paid them anything as nothing has been done. Now it is coming up to april and I am still without a bike. I sent them an email

    To whom it may concern,

My name is (dag0n) and as you may remember I dropped off a motorcycle (VL125 Daystar) to you in December. It is now April and I am no closer to having a working motorcycle. I personally feel that the service you as a company are providing is terrible. Also your customer service is somewhat lacking. Since my bike has been dropped off to you, I have not had a single phone callicon to update me on the progression of repairs or to advise me on what the current situation is. Everytime that I have called, I have been fobbed off with stories about the "delivery of parts" and not being able to send half a crate across.

I would now like to know by close of business this Friday (30th March) when I can expect to receive my bike back in full working order. I should warn you that I have contacted the Daily Echo and the Portsmouth News and they are both very interested in publishing a story about the 'service' you provide.

I look forward to hearing from you in the form of either an e-mail or a phone callicon on telephone number

    Regards
does anyone have any advice on what else i can do?

    Thanks

Think the bikes a Daelim Daystar VL125. (South Korea Copy like the VL Intruder?)

The main importer or dealer should be able to source an exhaust or have one posted from Korea.

He didn't come looking for trouble, but trouble came looking for him.
When the smoke clears, it just means he's reloading.

I'd have written to them making time of the essence and giving them a date by which to carry out the work before you removed the bike and took it elsewhere.

Please note I'm not insured in this capacity, so if you need to, do get official legal advice.
