I got my statements today (finally!) and have noticed a £20 charge for 'card protection'.....I know for a fact that I wouldnt have signed up for any kind of card protection because at the time I had recently lost my job due to illness so any insurance like that would be useless to me.

The charge is the same amount as the other late payment etc charges....

Is this a legitimate charge or are they just trying to get more money from me? Can I claim this charge back??
