ok here is a strange one, we purchased a car from the Car shop in northampton and had a finance agreement with GE Capital Woodchester

my wife received a letter in the post from GE asking for our cars details as they were incorrect on the original agreement we checked and yes they are as a couple of digits are wrong on the reg number we never noticed to be perfectly honest but am dubious as to why they have only just found out as we bought the car over 18 months ago. we have had a few issues with the payments on this recently and cocked DD's etc,

if they were to enforce any missed or late payments would they be able to given that the information is wrong and if so are they asking for the details so that they can enforce any debt owing (there isnt any but if there was) im just very curious as to why this has come up as we have recently had probs with the payments

any help would be much appreciated
