    Question Citroen Picasso tracking

Has anyone noticed heavy wear on the front passenger tyre on a picasso?
I have just had my second service and the dealer has noticed heavy wear on the tyre ( only done 15k miles ). They have said that it is the way the car has been driven and that the engine is heavier on that side??!!!
I've asked them to check the tracking, which they have done and they have said it is well within citroens spec tolorence, however an independant garage has said that this is a common problem. Jus wondering if anything else can be done.

I have noticed this problem also, nothing wrong with the tracking, just seems to be one those unusual problems.

Not sure what else can be done to stop this.

I managed to get the main dealer service manager to admit that there is a problem and he has agreed to have the car taken to their body shop to be checked out further. I'll post the outcome when I have it.

I work for a Citroen dealership in the sales department. I sell used cars so I don't have a particular loyalty to the brand because I sell all different brands. Now one of my ways I identify potential customers is by checking on the service departments day to day service logs and I have not actually seen this problem yet.

I don't mean to stick up for Citroen but even though I have only worked there for a year I have that the Xsara Picasso is great. (Hated it when I first saw it but no converted).

I will have a word with my service manager and workshop controller tomorrow and find the insiders view for you all if this helps then report back to you all.

(This is why I am only a middle order salesman because I don't bullsh** people to get a sale, I tell the truth unlike the high flying salesmen who just talk cr*p and just wing it)

well the car has been to the body shop, for most of the day, and the result is that although it is within tolorence, it is right at the edge. They have adjsted the tracking so I will see how it goes. Another garage said it could be down to a faulty shock absorber, so if the problem continues, I'll be back at the dealers asking them to check that out.
