Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Well , fresh from a victory against Egg with full settlement at lba stage i thought i would try my 4 Barclaycard accounts including one with Skycard.
Same old usual tricks from Barclaycard.. Got the statements from 2004 for one account and Skycard provided full details within 5 days.
My claim against skycard is only £112.00 and they offered me £50.00. I've not waited the 28 days and I called my contact at skycard complaints just to check if this would be their definite last offer. They confirmed £50.00 is as far as they will go.. I pointed out court costs and 8% interest could be prevented for and extra £62.00 but they are stubbornly (and stupidlu) kicking their heels in..
Filing online tomorrow.
Barclaycard meanwhile have 8 days to give re the pre 2004 info on one account and all the details on the other 2.
Barclaycard and MBNA (if i ever get a reply) are going to be the most difficult , but also the biggest payout so it will be worth it
Can anyone tell me for Skycard should i used the barclaycard address for MCOL as the card is underwritten by them or.. the only other address is for skycard complaines.. i'm guessing its the barclaycard one...
