Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
After successfully claiming back my fees from A&L of course the account was closed with 30 days notice in October. No surprises there ...
Then I got a letter from MBNA saying that my credit card limit had been lowered so I got a report from Equifax and I have a 3 month strike on my account referring to A&L current account in October. The account was clear and had a zero balance at that time.
I want to write to A&L on two matters :
1 to complain about the retalliatory account closure
2 to demand that the credit black mark be removed forthwith
Then I will complain to the Financial Ombudsman about both matters, once A&L have replied.
Are there any templates referring to account closures and also the adverse credit rating? I have looked all around the site and can't find anything.
Any help would be gratefully received.
Good luck to you all, Lindy
