Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I'm reclaiming from Halifax on a closed account that we have not used for about 2 years now - and they defaulted us too. We're also requesting the removal of this default from our files.
Spend as much time as humanly possible reading everything in the FAQ section - this gives all the info you should need to get started.
Post back here when you have done so, especially if you still have queries you can't find an answer too.
Best of luck
John

It states that over £12 is excessive. If I have been charged £30, do I claim back £30m or minus the £12 from it first? Or am I thinking to much? lol
Not in our FAQs it doesn't !
The £12 you have seen is in relation to a statement by the OFT, which effectively says that charges of £12 or more would be the point at which they would get involved with the banks / cc companies.
Do not take this to mean £12 is fair.
