Looking for a bit of advice really with Egg. Sent the obligatory first letter on the 3/02/07 requesting a list of charges against my account. The only slight problem was that i didn't have a lot of details regarding my account. I told them the date when the account was opened and how long i had it for, yet i haven't had any response from them. The letter was sent to Jenny Gordon in London.
What should my next move be now that it's passed the 40 days mark?
If not even a response after 40 days then your letter has probably gone into a dead file. Surprised you sent your letter to London, Egg HQ is up north if memory serves. Definitely a telephone contact job to break the logjam.
Do you remember your internet userid, so as to logon to Egg and request the usual assistance for lost passwords. Or is there a reference to DD S/O in favour of Egg, on your old bank statements, possibly mentioning Egg account number?
Thanks Mistermind, i gave them a call today and they confirmed that they have received my letter. The phone operative told me that as the account is now closed, it will take a bit of time to 'dig out' all relevant info. I should have a response within the next week - hopefully!
