Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
At last after reading varoius threads over the past couple of months I have found the courage to send DPA letter today!! Yipee!! I have been furious with the woolwich for years. We are a hard working family with 2 young boys who's life has been made extremely difficult due to excessive charges being forced on our account, often resulting in direct debits bouncing as a result of unfair charges causing us to enter a cycle of debt. I'm sure when I get our statements the amount will be thousands so I'm ready to go allthe way. Wish me luck I'll keep you posted!!
Right, I have just recieved my list of charges from the woolwich. Do I only claim for unpaid direct debit charges or can i claim for forced cheque and forced debit card charges, also returned cheque charges? there is a whole list of different charges and can i claim for them all, or only the direct debit charges. PLEASE HELP!!! I'm ready to set the ball rolling but need to know I'm claiming for the right amount.

Please read the FAQs - it gives guidelines on what you can and can't claim. There is also a step-by-step guide and loads of other important information. After reading through all that and browsing round the forums if you have any further questions please ask, but start your own thread.
