please help, i know that i can claim back refferal charges,, but what about the monthly charge on the royalies & interest charge?? this seems to vary every month:oops:

Same thing, claim it. sorry, I'm just not too familiar with all the different terms used by all the banks. Basically if it looks like a penalty for something you've done - claim it:D

Monthly service charges cannot be claimed back. Interest that is charged on penalty charges can be but is difficult to work out.

 

Try Mindzai's excellent v1.9 spreadsheet, it's brilliant & works out interest charged on penalties for you! I'll try and do a link for it or you could do a search for it, that's what I did and it was pretty easy to find. If you come across any posts by Mindzai it's in his signature.
