Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Can someone please advise, I have had no response to my letter before action sent on the 3rd March so am going ahead and issuing a N1 now together with claim for interest, between the LBA and the N1 to be issued MOnday I have had a further 3 charges taken from my account, do I add these to my claim?? Or do I have to notify the Halifax that my claim has increased? Would be grateful of any help before I issue the N1 on Monday.
I would just include them and get on with issuing proceedings. You'll need to supply a full schedule of charges in or with your claim so they'll get the message.
Are you using a paper N1 or MCOL? It sounds like the former but if the latter make sure you send a schedule of charges to the bank and the court with your claim number clearly marked and a covering letter asking for them to be appended to your claim.
Advoc thanks for the help could you just advise do I also oput on the claim form in Value of Claim my SAR fee of £10.00, can't see it anywhere on the forum or hard copies of N1's available
