Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
This is a small point regarding the Initial Claim template in relation to the part which asks to remove any default notice from credit records.
I received my credit reference files from Experian and Equifax. Citi Cards have entered default details into both. Perhaps other companies do the same.
I feel that the initial claim template should insist that the company remove any default notices from all credit refence agencies they supply information to.
My thread "Mrgreengenes versus Citi Cards" shows my amended version.
There are more than just 2 credit reference agencies, so it's better if the letter asks for removal of (meaning anywhere it is held), rather than romoval from x and y etc.
