Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.

£16 I believe, although not had any charges for a long time and 19.9% interest rate. I tried to find why I can't have the "usual" 14.9% but couldn't get a decent answer.
EDIT
Just noticed this is a VERY old thread, so I guess info no longer required.
When the Liberals and Conservatives were in opposition they both agreed that banks should pay back high bank charges to customers. Nothing seems to of happened since they came into power as a coalition. PPI insurance has been sorted now they should turn their attention to bank charges and help customers get exorbitant charges refunded.

My account has been closed also. Any ideas on how i should deal with it. Should i allow the direct debit to continue or should i send a cheque once a month as i no longer can use the account.

A 5% interest hike to celebrate Egg's withdrawal of credit card service! :o
This was before they withdrew the service (although I haven't been affected by this). What I mean is that the website claimed a typical rate of 14.9% when mine was put up from 18.9% to 19.9%. When I first got the card years ago it was something like 9.9% that I was charged.
I only actually use it now when I get the 0% anniversary offer for 5 months, and then transfer it back to a cheaper card when the 0% runs out.
As debts go down though I might not bother with them at all.
