Default Claiming back charges on multiple accounts?

Recieved statements on both my current account and bill payment account, only the last four years so i'm waiting on the rest being sent. If claiming on both accounts at the same time do I just total the ammounts up and is it still acceptable to do this? Many thanks

You can claim both accounts at the same time on the same claim. In my opinion this is the best way to proceed. I'd also wait for all the details to arrive and get it all over with.

Assuming you are in England or Wales you may find there's a risk of your claim going over the small claims limit. There are pros and cons to this but in my opinion having your claim having your claim allocated to the fast track is not a bad thing.

You can claim on more than one account, providing they are in the same persons name and not a mix of personal and business. Keep separate schedules of charges for each account, but do only 1 letter, claim etc for all accounts.

However, if your combined claims exceed £5K then post up here, as there are exposure to the other sides costs implication that should be considered.

I'll total it all up soon but I fear it could be over 5000.

I don't think that's anything to fear particularly, it just means there are a few more factors to be aware of but as long as your claim is made on the same basis as all the other claims it should make no difference to the ultimate outcome.
