HI, i sent for my credit card statements back in July 2006. Got a list of the penalty charges against me (£700 taken since 2003), but no statements. I am happy happy with this response. But i hadnt taken any action to recover these charges un til now because of other stuff happening at the time. And i have only just realised they they have credited my credit card account with a £100 "good will payment". My question is, if i make a claim now for the outstanding £600 (minus the good will payment) will my claim stand up in court if goes that far? I havent sent an acknowledgement accepting the £100.
Can anyone advise?
thanks Young, i think i will persue the claim as i had never thought i could get this money back until i came accross the BAG site anyway!
Their response when they sent my records through with the goodwill payment was that their usual fob-off "the charges you agreed to are valid, fair and enforceable". But we all know to ignore this statement by now!!
