Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
just starting a thread to let you know i'm going to start sorting out all my charges. I'm off to see how many statements i can find, and take things from there.
sometimes being a compulsive hoarder is a good thing.
Nice to have another Woollie Fighter on board. If you think there's even the smallest chance you don't have all your statements involving charges over the last 6 years, send off the 1st SAR letter. You don't need to include a £10 fee so for the cost of a 2nd class stamp, you'll have the peace of mind that you have all the info needed to claim everything back
thanks for the info - i found a statement from 2001, but just the one. will need to get the rest. as i'm unemployed, and going to have to sue my ex employers for my redundancy, and try to get a tax rebate for 2005/06, every bit of encouragement helps!
cheers.
ps: do county courts give loyalty points for return customers???
