Bank Charges which then incur Overdraft interest charges :(
Hi,
thanks to this site so far, i have managed to calculate + begin to bring action against the Halifax.
I have calculated the charges as being £294.52 - including the 8% interest rate chargeable.
my only query is that having had these charges has meant that my account has been overdrawn on an interest rate of 18% per annum. Can i claim back any associated interest debit charges which are associated with these bank charges which i am attempting to claim back?
is there an easy way to do calculate? (ie modify the formula in the spread shett i already d/l from here! )
cheers

pS) do i just modify the formula for the 8% to make it 18%p.a. and create a further cell
Re: Bank Charges which then incur Overdraft interest charges :(
check out Vampiresses spreadsheet in the templates....you cna claim back a % of the interest but only what applies to your charges and not the spending.
