Hi Everyone,
I was reading on Money Saving Expert site that the Office of Fair Trading are supposed to be making an announcement stating a figure that they feel the banks SHOULD charge us (and be classed as reasonable). The announcement is supposed to be made in April. Does anyone know how this will affect our chances of getting our money back? Or is there a thread on here that I have missed discussing this issue?
I dare say that it will give more power to the banks as then they will offer us the difference between what we have been charged and what is deemed as 'fair' meaning that we will not get the full amount back. I would also have thought that it would be more likely for cases to go to court OR for Barclaysto wait until the last minute to pay up with more cases!
Does anyone have any suggestions/views or profrssional knowledge that maybe of interest?
Thanks Teach57
