Can anyone tell me if they have successfully reclaimed from Alliance & Leicester and not had their bank account closed by them. I have just read that they automatically close your account, and I haven't made alternative arrangements ( - yet - but I'm on with it). Is it lawful to close bank accounts just for this reason?
I have just had my initial rejection letter...
Plenty of people look in the A & L success's, we always advise to open a parachute account though just in case, if they do close you can complain and get compansation from them, good luck.
