Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I reclaimed just over 1000 pounds (including interest) from A&L, they sent me a cheque just after filing an acknowledgement of service. The letter that accompanied the cheque said "we will shortly be reviewing your account" and a second letter arrived about 2 weeks later saying that they were closing my account because I "obviously couldn't comply with the terms and conditions". I have both letters, should I take them to court for closing my account? They are clearly doing so because I made a complaint about their terms and conditions being illegal.
