Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have tried doing a search for any other threads relating to The One Account but couldn't find anything.
Just wondering if anyone else has had any success claiming bank charges back from The One Account.
We sent a "Preliminary approach for repayment" letter and heard nothing, so sent a "letter before action". The 14 days are up and we haven't heard a thing from them so are preparing to make a court claim.
The One Account are now part of The Royal Bank of Scotland so we weren't sure if we should have sent RBS the letters instead of The One Account. Although we had a succesful claim against First Direct which replied to the first letter and we didn't need to go to HSBC for it.
I hope this thread is in the correct place, my apologies if not; I'm new here.
