Any thoughts or advice on guess/estimating charges?
Hi all,
After 2 successful claims (and feeling a little cocky) am considering a 3rd. However, A&L have failed to provide me with my credit card statements after 4 requests.
Have checked with MBNA and as the account was closed before 2003 it will definately be held with A&L. I have also reported A&L to the information commissioner who has passed my details (along with multiple others) onto them to get resolved. This was at the end of Feb and still not heard a thing.
Without statements I am considering estimating the charges. This would mean that A&L would have to provide the statements to prove my estimations wrong. However, I have no idea what to base my estimate on.
Does anyone have any ideas or has anyone else had to estimate their charges owed?
Re: Any thoughts or advice on guess/estimating charges?
This would be a very difficult action to bring and would more than likely be unsuccessfull, best to sit tight for your statements, ask them for an update in regards to this.
