Default Help with a CapOne Claim

    Hi all,
First posting here so please be kind! If I fill you in with a bit a background info first......both myself & my husband have credit card accounts with CapOne. They are both over the limit due to charges (one is over by £300 due to charges). We are in the process of moving house and were going to pay off the cards with equity but I wanna get back at them instead now and claim all we can. For the last week, we have recieved between 18 & 24 calls a day from them so are desperate to get one over on them.
I've spend the last 2 evenings going through all the posts on here and it seems like a complicated thing to do!
Is there someone out there who would be kind enough to give us a very simple step by step guide as what to do with links to relevent letters/spreadsheets etc?

    Many thanx everyone,

    lisagav69

Hi lisagav69 and welcome to the site. My first suggestion would be for you to have a read through the step by step guide, this will outline the relevant stages you will go through whilst proceeding with your claim.

    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...tructions.html

If you look through the templates libraryicon you will find all the letters and correspondance you need to be successful with your claim.

Take things slowly and don't get into a panic, everything you'll need is here on this site. Take one step at a time and if you have any questions ask them here on YOUR thread. You can update your thread with any progress made and all the questions you need to ask, there are many knowledgable people on here who are more than willing to help.

Don't be afraid to ask any questions, no matter how stupid they may seem, but please remember that any advice that you receive is normally based on experience only and that you should seek expert advice if required.

All the best in your claim!!

Hi LisaGav69, I'm no expert but personally I'd pay the B's off with some of your +equity, that'll stop the bloomin' annoying phone callsicon. Then start action to recover your unfair charges - you will win! Good luck.

If you want the phone callsicon to stop, may be worth sending one of these of http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...se-letter.html

And it really isn't that complicated claiming back those charges, just make sure you read the FAQ's and understand them before starting.
