The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Sent a few Sars off to different banks and Barclaycard have been the first to respond- well within the 40 days time limit i might add! However, as so many people are finding, Barclaycard are claiming they will need another 6 weeks to summon up the strength for someone to turn the microfiche machines on again... funny- they should still be warm from the last person sending in a SAR!
Anyways, From the statements I have received from June 2004 onwards I have calculated just over £600 worth of charges, looking through the few statements I have managed to keep pre 2004 it would appear I was in the habit of collecting charges too so i expect this figure to rise- probably to around the £800 mark!
Next port of call is the contractual interest threads- going to have a good look at Vampiress spreadsheets on compound interest especially... and also sort out a reply to Barclaycard telling them the 40 days time limit is still ticking!
