Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
i have started writing up my letter of appeal to PATAS (not sure if i should appeal in person or post) not sure what i am writing so if anyone can give me a little help i would really appriciate it ( have been ill, so thats why i have left the appeal till last minute!!)
i am appeaing that the parking attendant did not fix the ticket to my windscreen nor did he hand it to me, he threw the ticket through my car door, and the pictures he took dont show any parking ticket fixed to my windscreen.
would really, really appriciate any help!!!

my message is fight on those claims and also on the basics that it is illegal to give out fines without taking the person to court first this article may make it better
I would simply stick with the facts and state that the ticket was not handed to you or fixed to your windscreen. No need to elaborate and tell them that it was thrown through your window...
