hi just a quick one ive already started my on line claim for the return of my bank charges from Lloyds tsb, i started the claim on the HMCS money claim online and ive paid £120.
tsb have put in a defence against my claim, and it is being tranfered to my local court, and on the letter i recieved from northampton county court, it tells me i have to pay my local court another £100 , is this normal practice and is it worth carring it on, and also if i do carry on will i be able to claim the £220 that i will have paid in court fees
cheers dawn
I take it that the £100 you are refering to is for the Allocation Questionaire.
This will be include in your courts costs by the court.
If you settle with the bank before then, make sure you add it to the total.
I think it is worth it cos its also telling the bank that you are serious about taking them to court and if you do win then it will be added to your total amount repayable by Lloyds
