Hi new to this put slightly complicated situation but my partners ex is paying the mortgage until his son is 17.Rather he isnt paying it and letters are coming through from mortgage company costing £35 for each letter every month he doesnt pay it.Question is he has started paying now but want to try and buy him out but is there any chance of getting these charges back?Any advice would be grateful.
Is the mortgage just in your partners ex's name, or joint names?
I'm also pressuming there are arrear s on the mortgage?
Personally I would see an Independant financial advisor and change mortgage companies, then claim back the charges from the old mortgage companies
