Hi,
I took a loan out with London Scottish about four years ago and paid it off over a year ago but was wondering how I can claim the overdue account charges?
I sent a letter to them at Mount Street in Manchester requesting my statements but I did not have an account number to inform them of but surely they can track this down with my address....
Does anyone know of a telephone number or another contact address or indeed a name I can contact to help me get my statements from them?
Write a letter to them, specifically requesting your account number. They will required proof of identity from you, but there is no reason for them to with-hold it once they are certain who you are.
When you have your account number, send a Data Protection Act SARs request (See templates library) and enclose the £10 fee. they will then have forty days in which to comply to your request.
Send your SARs letter to.....

LONDON SCOTTISH HOUSE
MOUNT STREET

Good luck.

Hi,
I received my statements (well one page) with my payments on but..... If I missed a payment or two it does not show if they added any charges. I've worked out that from the amount I borrowed to the amount i have paid they have charged added on £450.00..... Would this be due to charges??? I will call them tomorrow to find out....... Hmmmmmm
