Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi,
I am in the process of claiming from the Abbey, have sent letter re : data protection and received reply stating that copies of the previous 14 mths statements would be forwarded ( now received ), but interestingly the info they claim is micro fiched they have said they will make arrangements for this to be "forwarded" under seperate cover, due any day now and at no additional cost.
Can anyone advise as to the best way to proceed once I have all the relevant information relating to these excessive charges?, are there certain departments you have to contact or do you forward your claim to the head office.
Will add any new info as events unfold, but fairly optomistic at present.
regards
steve

If you go to the main page and look in the libraries section there is a step by step guide in the FAQ. Once you have all your statements you will need to go through them and enter all the charges into a spreadsheet { this can also be found in the library section} then you can go onto the Preliminary letter stage {again there is a letter template in the library section} Have a look at a few of the threads there are quite a few at the same stage as you. Good luck with your claim.
