Hey all, just succeeded against First Direct and Barclays Bank for near enough full settlement.
My Barclaycard claim is having a few problems though and I seek clarification from you:
My case will be heard mid April. The claim was for approx £400 in costs as described in 2 years of statements; another £700 approx in 'estimated charges' as the microfiche excuse came into play. I now how the missing statements and need to amend the claim to about £800 in total.
Here comes the tricky part:
When I first asked for a refund of charges (a long time ago!) I sent them a £10 cheque which was not banked and I did not receive all stetements within 40days (microfiche). They have now charged me £3 per statement (and didnt send all of them anyway) so now I must submit a new claim or make an amendment to my original claim.
I now wish to seek damages and I am aware of the potential for approx £900 compensation.
Can anyone give me some simple, clear and above all SHORT advice on the best way to deal with this?
