Have debt with A & L sent off cca request with £1 to Global who acting for above on 18th Feb by recorded delivery . Got letter 3rd March dated 2nd asking for cheque for £1 payable to MBNA
1 They have no proof I have received this letter surely Global should have paid into their account and sent payment to MBNA ?
2 If I dont reply and send new cheque in theory they have defaulted ?
3 Do I send new cheque now
4 Do nothing
5 Write in one month say they have defaulted and committed criminal act .
Debt is more than charges I can reclaim so better off not acknowledging debt comments please Regards G
hi gaz, why not keep it simple and just cancel the prev cheque and sent them a new one?. besides the only way the debt will become unforceable and for you to get rid of them is if they can't supply you with the infomation requested on the cca.
