    she sent a harassment by telephone letter to cc company but they continue to call, what can she do? ty

    Ideally she should have sent it recorded delivery and confirmed it was delivered. Also she should have a record of all the calls made-especially since her notification delivered.
    Armed with that, she should initially complain to her local Trading Standards office.

    If she is with BT, they have a number you can ring if you are being subjected to nuisance calls. I accept that normally means someone unknown making the calls, but they may have a solution to help your friend. 0800 661 441.

    There is another number 0800 800 150 that allows you to block calls from a specific number, although I accept that these companies normally with hold
    their numbers.

    Send a letter of complaint to their head office, cc-ing in BT and Trading standards. Also, ring BT stating these are nuisance calls.

    In the letter, insist they remove your number from their database - if they don't then report them to the data commissioner as well.

    All help is merely my opinion only - please seek legal advice if you need to as I am only qualified in SEN law.
