Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I run a business account with the Bank of Scotland and I am ready to submit papers to the local Sherriff Court, but I would just like to be sure i am 100% correct.
The bank of Scotland are stating that claims are being dealt with under "The Unfair Terms of Consumer Contracts Act, which does not apply to business customers" can anyone tell me if this is correct? Sounds rather odd to me as I would have assumed that anyone who pays for a service is entitled to receive that service regardless of whether they are a business customer or not.
