Woolwich Barclays Merger, what it means for me
Well I've finally recieved the information about what this means for me/us and I'm not a happy bunny!!
What we can look forward to with our 'new' bank:
1. Responsibility to move DD's, SO's whilst switching.
2. A reduced buffer, £50 down to £5
3. Bye bye counter cheques
4. We can no longer pay bills, request cheque books, withdraw from muliple accounts, make deposits via the ATM. Although there are other ways.
5. £400 max ATM withdrawal reduced to £300
6. Cheque Guarentee limit reduced from £250 to £100
I am beginning to miss the Woolwich already.
The positives
1. Unpaid fee change. Max 1 x £35 per day.
2. More branches.
I am of course having a whinge! I live in my buffer
