Hi, Well, after days of trawling through various threads and trying to get my head round the spreadsheets, especially the interest calculation bit I have posted my 'preliminary approach for payment' letter. LET BATTLE COMMENCE!
I am claiming back £2559 (£125 in interest) from the Royal Bank of Scotland.
This is a very addictive site and there are various threads I want to keep track of, especially Hydra, mcuth and livelylad. Does anyone know how to do this? Also, a couple of weeks ago I was reading about somebody who was taking on a bank for an 'old lady' - his/her words not mine but I can't seem to find it. Can anybody help???? I'd love to know how it's going.
Anyway, will keep you posted if I can suss out how to do it!!
Just above the first post in each thread is a button saying THREAD TOOLS. If you click SUBSCRIBE TO THREAD, you have then subscribed to it. When you then open your USER CP (which is in the headings at the very top of every page, it will tell you which of your subscribed threads have unread posts on.
Well, prelim letter sent on 01/03/07. I was just about to send lba today and guess what came in the post..... an offer of £2434, only £125 less than my full claim. I can't believe it!!!
Hi Hydra, Yes, I think I will accept. Having followed your thread and others like you I'm not sure that all the extra work would be worth it for me personally.
Thanks for the congrats and good luck to you
