I got a ticket today for parking on double yellow lines yes silly i no but i was only away from the car for exactly 4 minutes. I was wondering if anyone knows how long the warden is supposed to view your car for before issuing you with a ticket?
Usually with double yellow lines it is a case of as soon as the warden has seen the contravention they can issue a pcn. Its only with some single yellow line restrictions that they need to observe for a few minutes before the issue of a ticket. Your only hope of challenging is if there are any issues with the signage at the location, the yellow lines were in a poor state of repair or not of the required size or if there is an issue with the legality of the PCN.
