Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Good morning to you all and thank you to the many thousands of people who have provided help and advice to everyone.
I have been with A&L for 6 months and have been charged 5 times for failed DD's totalling £170. I sent my first request for reimbursement 14 days ago to Leicester Branch.
I received a letter from Bootle saying my request was being looked into. Yesterday I received the standard "bog off" letter from Leicester stating their charges are fair.
I have sent my lba off today and have given them 14 days to refund my money otherwise I will be filing a MCOL.
Compared to others on here my amount to be claimed in small however, its not the money its the principal.
I haven't filed a MCOL yet so I was hoping that nearer the time someone could provide some friendly help and advice.
I sent A&L my lba today. I spoke to a lady by the name of Jayne Tate.
I was given a fax number of 01162 004355 so I faxed my LBA with list of charges and my statements. They have confirmed receipt, I know await their response and have given them 14 days.
