Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
...and would you like to appear on a BBC East Midlands Today special report on bank charges?
I am helping them to form a show (the exact format is unknown as yet) and they have asked me to gather case studies of;
(a) people who are in the process of claiming and who would like to explain how these charges have affected them and perhaps to explain how they realised they could reclaim etc. There may well be follow ups...
(b) those who have finished a claim and received their money back. You would be expected to talk about the process, how far it got, how easy (or otherwise, I suppose) the process was for you and so forth. I would have thought it likely that they would also discuss how the charges affected you when they were being levied.
Filming would not necessarily be at your home if you did not feel comfortable with that - these things can be arranged to suit the individual.
If you feel as though you might like to help us with this then please send me a PM or post in here (if my inbox is full etc). I will then contact you and see if there is something we can work on. You should be willing to pass on a contact number for this as time is of the essence
It would also be true to say that we are looking to help promote our site with this show, so you would certainly be helping the cause if you decide to offer assistance.
