    Default Banks Taking Money

    Hi,

    I am looking for some advise please.
    My wife has an overdrawn account, in her name, the bank decided to take the monies owned out of a different joint account, is this legal?

    Info on joint accounts here - BBA - British Bankers' Association - Understanding joint accounts

    the last q int the FAQ says that they should noot do this as a general rule.
