Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
After reading lots on this site, I decided to start the process of reclaiming charges on my Shell credit card (RBS Nautilus). Here is where I'm up to:
05/02/2007 We sent "Preliminary Approach For Repayment" letter
09/02/2007 They sent standard "...sorry you have not been happy..." letter, and "Your guide to making a complaint" and "Your complaint and the Ombudsman" leaflets, and said "...you can expect to receive a further response within the next 10 days."
Hi
I just wondered if you were dealing with southend-on-sea people as opposed to Scottish RBS? its hard to find many threads for the RBS credit card lot and i am about to reject their measly offer and go to court - but bit scared!
20/04/2007 They sent a 100% offer with conditions and enclosed the corresponding cheque
20/04/2007 They phoned and we informed them of the unacceptable terms, and they said they'd resend the letter a.s.a.p. without the unacceptable terms and stating "In response to the Default Judgment"
