Hi Community,
I parked up in Leeds on the Sunday 7th January this year and went to work. The car park was full so I parked in a coach bay (no coaches park there on a sun), having parked there on a Sunday before and never having had any trouble I thought it would be ok. However when I returned I found a parking ticket, I was dissapointed, but I decided to pay it as been a uni student I couldn't really afford to let it linger. Anyway I return home yesterday to find that I have recieved a letter from Leeds City Council and my first thought is they haven't recorded my online payment. However when I checked the ticked code and time they were different from the one I paid for. The ticket was issued 4 hours earlier than the one I paid for. When I returned to my car there was only one ticket on my car, so I presume someone has removed it.
My questions are:
What is my position in this?
Are traffic wardens allowed to issue two tickets in this period?
Thanks,
Jonathan.
