I'm just getting the confidence together to go after RBS for approx. £1850, which is what it would seem they've unlawfully charged me since March 2001 on my personal account.
I've read through HydraUK's and Loki187's posts and they've given me inspiration, thank you to you both.
One reason why I'm slightly wary over going after RBS is that my partner and I have a joint account with them (although she's great at managing money and it's never had any charges) and our business account is also with RBS (it has a small overdraft but again, hasn't incurred any penalty charges). I'm worried that RBS might try to close my personal account and any related accounts. Can you let me know your thoughts please?
Highly unlikely. I've not seen any accounts closed by RBS - there may be the odd one or two but I've not come across any. Your other accounts have no relevance to this account so will not be dragged in to it.
