    Default Lord_Alcohol v Natwest ****WON****

    Comrades

I have spent two weeks going over this excellent site's documentation and have now sent a prelim letter to Natwesticon requesting payment of just over £2,000 in charges going back six years.

I am looking forward to Court action. I recently successfully sued a firm of bailiffsicon and am itching to have a go at another piratical organisation!

I wonder if anyone reading this has considered the penalties levied by Transport for London and their Congestion Charge? Is there a real difference between bank penalties and TfL CC penalties? Maybe a new threadicon somewhere...

    Best wishes to all

It is unlikely to go to court, Natwesticon are paying up a lot more quicker recently.

No response from the jollies at Natwesticon at all from prelim letter regarding my £2,000+, so lbaicon has now gone off and they have until 23rd March - at which point it's a full broadside with the help of MCOL.

Must say, and I know I shouldn't, I am rather enjoying all this...

    Good luck all

Well done, keep at 'em, seems they are paying out a little quicker in some cases but perhaps their workloads is a bit too high for them to respond to every one quickly!!

Good luck (not that you need it)

    Hi All

No reply at all from Natwesticon to prelim letter or lbaicon, so MCOL claim was submitted a couple of days ago.

    Will keep you posted.

    Good luck

    Amazing.

Rather than cough up the dough which Natwesticon must know is unlawfully taken, they would rather pay out interesticon and Cobblers' fees just to (apparently) make it as awkward and time-consuming as possible for their customers to reclaim what is rightfully theirs.

Anyway, NatWest acknowledged my claim on the last day and have stated that they intend to defend it. Last day to file their defence is 28th April.

In the meantime, and just to show that I'm not to be trifled with, I've started a claim for charges on a business account too. Arf! Arf!

What a pitiful organisation they are, to be sure.

    Good luck all.

    Hi all,

Have just received Cobbler's defence and another document, a Request for Information and Clarification under CPR part 18icon.

The defence is laughable. I can only image that poor Lynsey is churning out this guff knowing full well it will never be presented in Court. How embarassing for her if it was!

As for the CPR 18 info, I've pointed out to Cobblers that they are merely wasting time by asking for this. I've cc'd the Court and also told them that Cobblers are wasting time, and have also asked them to write and ask if they intend to be present in Court.

This is just delaying tactics isn't it? It can't be anything else, unless that Lynsey has lost the plot entirely.

    Good luck everyone

    Hi folks

Have just received a Transfer of Proceedings note from the Court, as well as a notice stating that the aqicon has been dispensed with (which is nice).

I've also asked the Court to strike out the defence because it is so rubbish. I'll let you know what happens.

Carry on everyone, and keep up the good work!

3 days before the hearing I received a cheque for £3K, actually dated 3 weeks earlier so I guess they had no intention of attending all along.

Mods - can you move this to the successful claims section?
