Is it possible to reclaim penalty charges from store cards?.
Hi,just joined up today, saw the site talked about on "Watchdog".I will be starting reclaim action against Barclays on Monday for around £1500 and am reasonably confident of success (i hope - watch this space!!),i wonder if its possible to also reclaim penalty charges from store cards like Debenhams etc as my partner has had plenty of penalties on hers - does anyone have any experience of this and is the reclaim procedure much like the bank one.Thanks.

indeed you can, go for it. i claimed charges plus contractural interest esp with ge money and cap one. their interest rate is massive so go for it. read the forum on store cards. plenty of successes there. and you wont have to much trouble with ge money. have you got PPI on the cards too as you may be able to get this back. reads lot and all will become clearer.
